ACTIVITIES ~
Semi-Monthly Seisiúns/Ceilis
The
Hanafin-Cooley branch holds monthly seisiuns on the first and fourth
Sundays of each month , September through June, from 3:00-7:00
pm at the Canadian-American Hall, 202 Arlington St.,
Watertown. All are welcome and musicians are invited to join in.
Student musicians are welcomed to a slow pre-seisiun beginning at 1:30pm.
There is great music for set, ceili, old time waltz and other dancing.
Oftentimes, special guests, skillful musicians, gifted singers and
dancers, stop by and add to the evening's total enjoyment. Coffee,
tea, and bread are served. Admission is $8.00.

Dance Workshops
Irish
Ceili and Set Dance Workshops are held on Tuesday evenings , October
through May, at 7:30 pm at the Canadian-American Hall, 202 Arlington St.,
Watertown . All levels are welcome. The cost of this two hour workshop is
only $5.00.
Workshops are also
held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm at Concannon’s Village, off
Nahantan St., Norwood.
All classes are

to the minute information on dance workshop schedules.

CCEBoston Music School
The Comhaltas
Ceoltoiri Eireann Boston Music School currently provides instruction in
fiddle, flute, tin whistle, accordion, harp, uilleann pipes, and bodhran.
The School is operated in affiliation with the Boston College Irish
Studies Program. Seamus Connolly, former 10-time All-Ireland Champion and
Director of the Music, Song, and Dance Division of the Irish Studies
Program, is the Music School's Advisor. For a brochure and application

Cumann na Gaelige offers classes in the
Irish language at various locations in the area.This program provides
